New Job!
Started my new job on saturday! I’m now working at a really awesome pizza restaurant that has a newly added bakery, and OMG its pretty awesome. First of all they make some of the best woodfired pizza I’ve tasted in my life, second of all I get to bake!!
On saturday I only had to be there at six, but sunday I had to be there at five. But when I really start I’m gonna have to be there at four. Which isn’t that bad given I get to leave at noon and the only people I really have to deal with is Nick the baker. Hes cool hes like thirty some and looks like Popeye. Weird yet awesome at the same time?
A little scary the first day, I had to work with my boss Sarah, and that made me really nervous. But I got to make cupcakes and cookies and all sorts of delicious stuff. And today was really awesome I got to bake bread, I was still a little nervie, but I’m getting use to it. Not really sure what kind of stuff I’ll be doing once I get into it, like if I’ll just be helping Nick or if I’ll be doing my own thing and WHEN I’ll be doing my own thing, like if they think I’m gonna be ready to be all aloney on my owney next weekend cuz I don’t think I will.
But I love it, I get to wake up when no one else is awake, bake in peace and then go home and nap for the rest of the day. And I only have to deal with a total of like 8 people. And only for like two hours or less. Its perfect for my introverted self :)
I am totally exhausted though, I have gotten like no sleep and I have school tomorrow and Ah.
Best part of the weekend, I got to have a really nice dinner with my boyfriend who I got to see maybe twice the whole week. Which was really nice, he brought me flowers and we went for dinner and then ice cream. I miss him a lot I don’t get to see him very much cuz he works and has school so.. Yeah. :/
Anyway, sorry to all those people whose texts I’ve been ignoring over the weekend, I’ve been wiped and I just really don’t feel like talking to anyone.
So awesome new job, now I just need to find an apartment and maybe a roomie.
